Melissa Aleksak , CScD, OTR/L, CDRS

Melissa Aleksak, CScD, OTR/L, CDRS is the Director of the Adaptive Driving Program. She has a doctoral degree focusing on identifying and implementing evidence in clinical practice, and additional education to practice as a driver rehabilitation specialist. Aleksak is an experienced occupational therapist who has worked in a variety of settings, in addition to serving as the Program Director of an Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. She is committed to helping drivers understand and improve their driving ability and confidence after a major medical event, health condition or injury while providing driver rehabilitation services that incorporate education, training and support based on each client’s unique driving needs to foster safety and independence.
